Joseph DeLappe is a professor of Department of Art at the University of Nevada where he directs the Digital Media Program. Working with electronic and new media, his work in online gaming performance sculpture and electromechanical installation have been shown throughout the United States and abroad such as China, the United Kingdom, German, Canada and so on. In 2006, he began his project “dead-in-iraq” to type consecutively, all names of America’s military casualties from the war in Iraq into the America’s Army first person shooter online recruiting game. He also directs the iraqimemorial.org project. In addition, he has his own gallery online through his website delappe.net. It looks like the small gallery that people can join in everywhere to know more about him. He has his own artwork in gaming performance, painting, sculpture, imaging and so on. In his drawing =, he has a collection of American army. He uses rag paper and graphite pencil from recorded screenshots takine during the interventionist project “dead-in-iraq”.  I also see his Instagram post about his daily life when he travels around.
